How AirStudio works

One clock drives both tracks. Tempo changes join on the next unscheduled beat; arrangement and loop edits join on the next bar. Click a bar number to choose the next start position, then Stop / Play to restart there.

Drag blocks with a mouse, drag their right edge to resize, or use Start beat and Length on any device. Drum blocks snap to whole bars. Blocks on the same track cannot overlap. Duplicate / repeat places a separate copy in the next free space.

Chord blocks use AirChord’s current key, scale, voicing, sound, mode, effects and volume. Arpeggios follow the studio clock. Drum blocks hold their own pattern and swing. Live pads and sound controls remain playable above; AirChord’s looper and AirBeat’s own Play are paused here.

Switch to Jam to use the step sequencers, live pads and your retained loop. Backgrounding the tab or audio interruption stops playback; it never restarts automatically. This composition is kept in this tab’s memory only and is lost on reload.
